Rosie Hausler - President
Rosie has over 15 years of high tech and Internet PR and marketing experience plus an additional 5 years of consumer advertising and PR experience. Rosie was recognized by the PR industry with the Grand Prize Bulldog Award in 1998 for Best PR Campaign of the Year for her work at Junglee, the first comparison shopping service on the Web. She also has won numerous branding and marketing awards including an ADDY in 1997.
She has held the title of VP Marketing for 3 Silicon Valley start-ups and has extensive experience successfully implementing numerous demand generation systems and programs including web-based methods such as PPC, free trial programs, web seminars, blogging and e-mail campaigns. She has implemented several lead tracking systems that automate the lead capture process and integrate to CRM systems in real time. Rosie was a key part of the team at Amazon.com to create and implement the All Products Search feature in 1998. Prior to that, Amazon.com shoppers had to initiate a separate search on each store. She also implemented discussion groups on the Amazon.com site and other community features including the first live chat event on the site with Dave Barry to discuss his first novel, “Big Trouble” with his fan base.
Prior to her nine years of start-up experience, Rosie has worked in a variety of public relations, field marketing, corporate marketing, and sales support positions for companies including Liller Neal Advertising and Public Relations, Dataman Information Services, Cisco, Tandem, and The Atlanta Journal and Constitution Newspapers.
Rosie served on the Board of the Silicon Valley chapter of The American Marketing Association in 2004 and is a member of the CMO Council. She has presented at numerous industry events and has hosted dozens of web seminar events. In 2004 she was a co-presenter for a web seminar produced by WebEx and the American Marketing Association. Over 5,000 people registered and over 2,000 attended the web seminar. She holds a BA in Advertising from Michigan State University’s school of Communications.
